Treacherous people

No one who hopes in You will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. (Psalm 25:3) To me, treacherous means hazardous conditions pertaining to the ground or weather, not a person. After checking the dictionary, a treacherous person is traitorous, disloyal, faithless, deceitful, deceptive, false, backstabbing, double-dealing, weaselly, and unreliable among other things. A big blaring hazard of a person! You see, I have this friend who is always trying to get in my way of moving forward… Favor hater? Blessing blocker? I don’t have time for someone who has no faith in my future!!! Or do I? And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. (2 Tim 2:24-26) Jesus, please help me be a light in this persons life as it will benefit us both. Give me continued strength, kindness, and the right teaching words. You are my Rock!
