Day 87

Hello Tupelo!!! I drove South this morning to visit The Cutest Thing In The Whole World, AKA Chad May. We’ve been friends for 3+ years and have been through some of the same experiences, I needed some advice and he really came through for me. I’m thankful to have him in my life.
While in Tupelo I visited the automobile museum, Elvis’ birthplace, and drove by the hardware store where Elvis bought his first guitar.

And, since I’m a recovering foodie, I also took advantage of this trip to test my resolve. I failed. Miserably. We had the Popeye pizza (white sauce, spinach, chicken) and Southern Hot Tamales at Lost Pizza for lunch. Dinner at Bishop’s BBQ was pork nachos, catfish po’boy, gator fries, and pecan pie. BTW, we’re not far enough south or east to pronounce is pee-can.
